Please fix the compatibility with Apple TV. Or even better make a apple TV app. But I gave this application five stars anyway because TG4 is amazing they have wonderful shows! Its like Netflix for Irish speakers!! Also besides the Apple TV compatibility issue this is a wonderful app.
I only have one issue , I cant seem to hear the shows unless I have my head phones on with my iPad . Is there anyway to fix that . All other apps play well without having to use head phones. Like this app a lot
The live play tab dont work in the iPad app, hope this is fixed soon, I enjoy your app very :)
This is a fantastic app, sad now that it just keeps crashing when opening it
Some bad moments
I host an Irish study group in America and I am always encouraging people to check out TG4.ie. There is a big interest in the Irish language outside of Ireland. We have 12 people in our group, and its growing larger every couple of weeks. We need more resources like this. One gripe is that the scrolling doesnt behave as I would expect when I put my finger down to stop it, but it seems to work relatively well otherwise.
This is a most interesting app. Offered by a TV channel it has a limited number of original programs in Gallic with English subtitles.
So many Americans list Irish as their ethnic background, this is a way to see bit of Ireland today.
They even offer a soap opera. The only one on Earth in Gallic! This app streams very well. I enjoy it.
Love TG4, and used to rely on this app to practice my Irish. But in IOS 7 on IPad, it wont play video. Wont even allow me to adjust "settings." Back to using the website via Safari ...
If these problems are addressed, Ill gladly revise my rating.
Update: July 6, 2014. Same problems, months later. Giving up on this app, and that is a real shame. Very much wanted to love it.
It wont seem to work for me. Downloaded twice. Restarted phone. Made sure everything was up to date. App remains a blank white page when opened and crashes after about a minute. I hope it will eventually work, perhaps after an update, Ive been hoping for this app for ages. Fingers crossed TG4!
I enjoy the access, to otherwise difficult to view material, in the USA. App works as it should.
